Intervene, LORD God, for the sake of your people and your glory. So be it.

Lord God, Father who loves us, remind us to look to things unseen, to always consider life in light of eternity, to fix our eyes on Jesus who triumphed over all. Help us to know the ugliness of sin, to hate it as you do, to flee from it as from fire. Fill us with your compassion and kindness, your words and your truth. So be it, Lord.
