Lord God, please give me spiritual wisdom,
and a better understanding of who You are.
Increase my fear of You.
Then I will dwell secure and be at ease,
without any dread of disaster or fear of man.
So be it, Lord.
Blessed is the man who fears the Lord,
who greatly delights in his commandments!
He is not afraid of bad news;
his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord.
