THE JESUS STORY
The Jesus Story introduces Jesus as the Messiah God promised many years ago. That truth is expanded to include Jesus’ birth, sinless life, deity, death, burial and resurrection. The story is divided into twelve sections. It can be told all at once, or over a period of days leading up to Christmas or Easter.
At the back of the book is a list of objects that can be purchased and put into twelve gift boxes or plastic eggs. First you’ll read the story and the Bible verse, and then open the corresponding egg or gift box, and talk about it. The objects are meant to spark imagination and meaningful conversation. If the story is told at Easter, objects are put in numbered eggs. Gift boxes or bags are used, if the story is told at Christmas.
The story isn’t childish, but it is easily understood. When told to very young children, some details may be left out. When told to children in fifth or sixth grade, they can be encouraged to look up and read aloud the additional Scripture references that are listed.
The Jesus Story is available on Amazon. Or you may search The Jesus Story on this blog.
The Jesus Story is a fun way to share the gospel. It’s meant to be told over and over again, year after year.
THE COLOR OF US
The Color of Us encourages children ages 1-6 to rejoice in the love and creativity of their God. They will discover that God created Adam, and every person after him, exactly the way He wanted them to be. The Color of Us teaches that the color of skin is as inconsequential as the color of eyes or hair. It demonstrates that our diversity is God’s design, and a reason to celebrate. Choruses sung to familiar tunes are included to reinforce the truths taught in the book. Available at Christian Book Distributors, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Redemption Press, or through your local bookstore.
GOD MADE THAT FOR ME!
God Made That for Me! encourages children ages 1-6 to be glad because God created the world and everything in it for their pleasure and His glory. The illustrations reinforce this truth by showing things in everyday life for which a child can be thankful. God Made That for Me! upholds the biblical account of a literal six-day creation and portrays a happy God who always does good. The book ends with choruses sung to familiar tunes. The charming illustrations and delightful rhyme make this a perfect bedtime or anytime story. Available at Christian Book Distributors, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Redemption Press, or can be purchased through your local bookstore.
