Our relationship with God
can be so satisfying,
and the time we spend in His Word
so rewarding,
that we aren’t phased
by what people think of us,
or how they treat us.
When we need to be lifted up,
we simply bow down
before this One
who knows us best
and loves us most–
we kneel before the One
who holds this crumbling world,
and every aspect of our lives,
in the palm of His hand.
“Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!”
