If not God, who will we serve?
“And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the LORD,
choose this day whom you will serve.”
If not for God, what hope do we have?
Remember that you were at that time
separated from Christ…having no hope
and without God in the world.
If not to God, where can we go
for the salvation of our souls?
And there is salvation in no one else,
for there is no other name under heaven
given among men by which we must be saved.
If not now, when will we believe?
Behold, now is the favorable time;
behold, now is the day of salvation.
If not for God, why are we here?
I have seen everything that is done
under the sun, and behold,
all is vanity and a striving after the wind.
If for God, how shall we live?
The end of the matter; all has been heard.
Fear God and keep his commandments,
for this is the whole duty of man.
He has told you, O man, what is good;
and what does the LORD require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God?
