If we could see beyond the veil
to understand Your ways,
to know Your hand of providence
that governs all our days;
if we could see beyond the veil
as saints of old now see,
how precious and how glorious
would all our sorrows be.
Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
